ROWAN COUNTY, NC (WBTV) – Two Rowan Cavallas Community College students have received National Awards for Future Business Leaders at the 2022 America/Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference. Jadyn Koranteng and Jeremy Post competed with students from across the country at an event in Chicago.
Sarah Humble joins Koranteng and Post as a member of the Rowan-Cabarrus student delegation. Phi of North Carolina She served as Director of Beta Her Lambda Administrative Services and was accompanied by the student by Faculty Advisor Mr. Chad Nichols, who is a member of the state’s Awards Programs Committee.
Jeremy Post came in 1st in the Community Service Projects category, 3rd in Information Management, and 8th in Public Speaking. Post has served as President of the Rowan-Cabarrus PBL Chapter and Vice President of Phi Beta Lambda Membership in North Carolina.
Koranteng placed 5th in Impromptu Speaking and 9th in Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
During the conference, the Rowan-Cabarrus Phi Beta Lambda Chapter also won the National Gold Seal Chapter Award and placed 4th in the Local Annual Business Report category.
