Marietta — The Memorial Health System will host its 40th Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner on August 23 at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta.
The Volunteer Recognition Banquet recognizes volunteers who consistently demonstrate superior quality, hard work, customer service, and dedication. With the number of hours given in 2021, several volunteers have reached milestones.
“We value our volunteers. They are special, wonderful people who make a difference for our patients and families.” Cindy Hall, Memorial Health System Volunteer Services Coordinator, said: “This year’s theme is The HeartBehind the Hands.
Volunteers are doing more to make a difference in patients’ lives, she said.
“They are always appreciated for the important work they do.” Hall said. “They are the key to our success and we are proud to celebrate them. We help in a variety of ways, including flag deliveries, parking assistance, behind the scenes in our offices, medical records, and other areas of our system.”
