Looking for an ultra-chic, futuristic and stylish look on the far-flung fashion runway? There is no possibility of getting the costume anytime soon.
But right in front of it is Laguna Beach, where a fashion show takes place. Many of the materials used in clothing are probably somewhere in your kitchen or bathroom.
It’s a festival runway fashion show at the Festival of Arts, an over-the-top affair that encourages creative types to build ensembles out of everyday items we normally throw in trash cans and bins.
Think compact discs, coffee filters, plastic and paper bags, boxes, and pretty much everything around your house right now.
PVC piping has been used in the past to make festive frocks and even expertly cut window screens. A shiny can of La Croix water? They also added an element of glitter to the bygone gowns to catch the light.
A mashup of haute couture and general merchandise, this famous event will take place in 2020 and 2021.
“The Festival Runway Fashion Show is one of the most popular events of the summer and we are very excited to bring it back this year,” said Charby Higuchi, Marketing and PR Director for Festival of Arts. .

Emmy-nominated film production designer Nelson Coates will host 2022, with a panel of judges drawn from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, design and nearby pageants.
