Schulfer finished the night after allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts in 3 innings in which he allowed 1 run.
The Rafters could not keep quiet for long. An RBI double by Chris Conniff in the bottom of the sixth gave the Lutz a 7–6 lead. Chase Cole added more insurance on an RBI single to make it 8-6. One batter later, a two-run Colin Taft double bust gave the Wisconsin Rapids a 10–6 lead.
Liam Alpern and Alec Mendoza threw scoreless frames in the top of the seventh and eighth innings, respectively, with Mendoza scoring 3 up and 3 down in the eighth inning.
