Located at 434 William Street, WAXED is a new downtown company offering full body waxing, eyelash extensions and more.
“We do full body waxing everywhere from Brazilian to back, chest and brow shape. We also do eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, tints and brow lamination.” Owner Mindy Day said:
Day of Williamsport saw a need in the community and decided to start a business.
“We did some research and found that no one specializes in waxing. Downtown Williamsport is vibrant and there is a lot going on here. I was Day said. “I really wanted to put myself in this environment. I wanted to be downtown.”
WAXED has a crew of certified specialists trained in each service.
“Andrea, she’s been doing eyelashes for the last few years. Day said.
“Jen is an expert in full body waxing. Jen does a Brazilian wax. It’s an intimate service. So she’s been professionally trained.”
The store also has a large selection of locally made accessories.
“Almost everything there is local women artisans. I am very passionate about women entrepreneurs. Day said.
“I love it. Like the traffic on that first Friday. People waving by. Just being part of the energy here and the world is so rewarding.” Day said.
