The National Biosecurity Scientific Advisory Board (NSABB) will meet virtually on September 21, 2022 to replace the existing U.S. biosecurity oversight frame to govern potential pandemic pathogens and dual-use research of concern, enhanced Discuss the progress of the work review. This meeting will be videotaped and members of the public are encouraged to provide verbal or written comments.
The NSABB provides advice, guidance, and recommendations to the U.S. government regarding the potential biosecurity implications of life sciences research, an issue of paramount importance to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health. It is a federal advisory board established in and the broader US government.
