Fashion entrepreneurs and enthusiasts gathered in the Grand Ballroom of the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos for the African Print part. An event that celebrates African fashion.
The event is part of activities commemorating African Print Festivals, which are typically held in several African countries to promote the support of local brands.
Hosted by TV presenter Amanda Dala, the event featured a fashion showcase that allowed designers to showcase their rich patterns and colorful designs. It was adorned with a variety of gorgeous African prints and styles, right down to the headgear (gelet). A show was held.
The event ended with an exhibition where various vendors of African print and design sold their products.Products included shoes, bags, clothing and fashion accessories. All African prints.
Corporate brands such as Guinness and Eva Wine also stepped in to support the African fashion industry by offering drinks to guests at the event.
