After the Queen’s death on September 8, fashion events hastily announced new schedules to minimize conflicts with the mourning period. and both Raf Simons and Burberry have opted to scrap the show altogether.

Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, which hosts London Fashion Week, said in a letter sent last week that “London Fashion Week will be a business-to-business event. will continue in compliance with Royal Protocol and the event will be dedicated in our own honor to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”
With the final day of Fashion Week scheduled for the same Monday as the Queen’s funeral, Lush has announced that the schedule will be cleared, confirming that “all shows have been rearranged.”
Some of these events will take place on Tuesdays, while others will take place in October, with an unconfirmed date.
Queen Elizabeth II will be buried in a historic state funeral on Monday.

About 500 people, including U.S. President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden, were entertained in the main state room of the palace.
