    SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 14, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — With the advent of AI and big data in the rapidly expanding beauty technology market, South Korea-based personal care products manufacturer CHOWIS Co. The kiosk uses AI to diagnose a visitor’s skin and hair and provide customized digital beauty and wellness solutions based on the results.     CHOWIS recently entered the US market through a collaboration with Walmart partner Strands, which specializes in personalized hair care products. Walmart introduced his CHOWIS kiosk to analyze customers’ hair and scalp. Based on the results obtained at the kiosk, customers get customized products such as shampoos and conditioners. Chowis is offering his first batch of 100 of his myHair KIOSKs, with additional deliveries planned soon.

    CHOWIS has launched PRECISION SKIN DermConcept, an AI-based at-home skin diagnostics and personalized cosmetics platform service in the UK. This is a service that uses an app to grasp skin conditions and provides users with information on how doctors and pharmacists prescribe new cosmetics every month.

    Skin condition analysis by CHOWIS diagnostic device “DPI Viso” is updated in real time. CHOWIS’ “DPI Viso” device will be shipped as part of DermConcept’s starter kit for new members, with 100 already shipped.

    Additionally, CHOWIS is working on a small personal device called mySkin FAIN (Face AI Navigator). Consumers can use her AI to analyze their skin anytime, anywhere. CHOWIS hopes to launch this in the second half of 2022.
