Morgantown, Wisconsin – Mon Health Medical Center recently received the Gynecologic Surgery Excellence Award for the third consecutive year from Healthgrades, the leading online resource for comprehensive physician and hospital information. Mon Health Medical Center was the only hospital in West Virginia to receive this designation.
For this annual analysis, Healthgrades assessed hospital performance across four obstetrics and gynecology services (vaginal delivery, caesarean delivery, hysterectomy, and gynecological surgery) in 16 states. The 2022 awards identified the top 10% hospitals in each region and only 145 hospitals were accredited.
