hollywood, florida – Child check-ups are an annual back-to-school ritual to ensure that children are growing, growing well and protected from infections by proper immunizations.
“Our mobile health center is located within the community, runs every other weekend, and provides immunizations for the uninsured, school checkups, and health checks throughout the week,” said Nursing Director Jennifer Riley. Miller said.
Children entering crèches, crèches, pre-kindergartens and kindergartens should be vaccinated with the latest vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella, or the combined MMR, varicella vaccine for chickenpox, diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccines. Or DTaP, polio vaccine, pneumococcal vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine.
Children between the ages of 10 and 11 should receive a tetanus booster and a meningococcal vaccine to prevent meningitis.
Last but not least, the flu vaccine is recommended annually for both children and adults.

“If you don’t get vaccinated, you risk contracting certain preventable diseases. Many of these are very chronic in nature and have a real impact on the overall health and wellbeing of our children.” There is a possibility.
