Regarding rumors that Cristiano Ronaldo could join Bayern Munich, club CEO Oliver Kahn came out in an interview with German news outlet Bild to deny the speculation.

Earlier this year, Cristiano Ronaldo announced that he wanted to leave Manchester United. Naturally, transfer gossip began to circulate and the Portuguese was associated with several clubs. One of those clubs he was Bayern Munich.

Ronaldo ‘not for sale’ despite wanting to leave Manchester United
Bayern Munich aren’t the only clubs involved in the transfer frenzy. Atletico Madrid were also rumored to be interested in Ronaldo.However, these allegations were conclusively refuted by the club president Enrique Cerezo.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Chelsea were also reportedly interested in the striker in early July. Nevertheless, as reported by the Evening Standard’s Nizar Kinsella, Thomas Tuchel was intent on signing Raheem Sterling.
The 37-year-old is even linked to former rivals Barcelona, who are said to have refused to sign him. He has stated that he wants to leave Manchester United because he does not believe he can win the title.
