Founded by Dani Everson, Clementine’s Salon and Skincare strives to provide our customers with a personalized experience. To take her business to the next level, Everson created SkinForYou, an app that allows her estheticians to engage with clients and create personalized skincare regimens for them and their skin types.
The app has revolutionized skincare and built trust between estheticians and clients. Due to her success, Everson recently opened a new salon in Albada, Colorado. The salon offers a skincare studio, hair her salon and bar her skincare lounge for clients to enjoy.
Everson started her career by renting a booth as a hair stylist, wanting to create something her own. Her booth rental was next door to Rosa Her Linda’s Mexican Cafe (now closed) in Highland.
Everson contacted cafe owner Rosa Linda about leasing the extra space. The result was “a salon that was bigger than I had envisioned for his one or two stylists, so I recruited them carefully and deliberately so that I could barge into the role of owner,” he says. says Everson.
There are currently three Clementine Salons and Skincare Studios in Colorado, two spaces in LoHi and one in Aurora’s Stanley Marketplace. The idea for Everson’s Hair and Skincare Studio was originally strictly a hair salon. But the idea to combine her skin care studio with her hair salon came when she signed a lease on her Stanley marketplace. When the space across from her receded, Everson decided to expand her own space. It was difficult at first, but Everson quickly learned how to adapt.
“I thought skincare could be easy, and I was wrong. It was a whole different beast, but we have amazing estheticians who help us along the way,” Everson said.
Everson created SkinForYou to “bridge the gap between estheticians and clients.” This is a personalized skincare app that connects clients to an esthetician for advice and recommendations, as well as to track their own skincare routine. Users can share results with estheticians, get support and guidance, and ask questions.
“SkinForYou is the first loyalty and relationship tool used in spas to earn customer trust and teach them how to care for their skin,” says Everson.
During the pandemic, Everson used her platform to offer a variety of services to its users. As a result, SkinForYou now includes online quizzes and an online storefront for users to learn about and purchase products.
Everson’s new store in Albada has a 3,000-square-foot hair salon on the top floor, offering appointments for haircuts, colors, extensions, and more. This space is not your typical hair salon, as Everson aims to provide customers with an experience from start to finish.
“Also, every hair station on the second floor has a QR code so guests can see their highlights while sipping a margarita,” says Everson. Clementine’s is also looking to expand her texture offerings. The space itself, including its layout and decorations, borrows from a building built in 1874.
Clementine’s Salon and Skincare has an alleyway bar where the team serves cocktails and a skincare lounge where customers can relax while waiting for their appointment. Shop for candles, tote bags, jewelry, homewares and more.
In the basement of the lower level are two esthetician rooms offering facials, waxes, microblading, hydrafacials, oxygen facials and sugaring. There is a small skincare area where customers can take pictures of their skin. This includes proprietary technology for age prediction based on pore size, texture, wrinkles and skin.
Using our technology system as the foundation for all bookings, “From there, our team selects products from nine different product lines and delivers custom skin care routines. ,” added Everson.
Everson has created an empire by designing his spaces to serve multiple purposes. She started her business by renting a booth as a hair stylist and now owns three locations in Denver where she combines her services in hair salons and skin care.
“I am very happy to be where we are and to see it all unfold,” Everson said.
Everson’s empire of skincare studios, hair salons and bars is transforming the beauty community. Clementine stores are all-in-one spaces where customers can relax, shop, be served, and have a drink in between. Additionally, SkinForYou has revolutionized the way estheticians and clients interact, changing the beauty industry for the better.
