Stevens Point – The City of Stevens Point will host a public conference on Business 51 on October 6th.

Stevens Point Mayor Mike Witha said, “We will have representatives from all of AECOM, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and city officials.” We will give a brief presentation on where we are, and allow time for questions and answers on where we can and cannot go from here.”
“The council approved additional costs for this meeting after a binding referendum was passed in August by 31 votes. A vote must be held, which includes regular annual road projects across the city as well as special needs for development, public transportation, rail or aviation,” a city release said.
The meeting will be held on October 6 at 6:30 pm at the SPASH Auditorium at 1201 North Point Drive, Stevens Point.
