beauty school We shared another song from our upcoming debut album, Happiness, and it’s even more beautiful emo loveliness.
The track is called “Oak” and you can see the band dealing with some real ear worms in their chords and melodies, and finding emotions that many of us can relate to, but if the video is It’s getting the most attention.
From light-hearted to nostalgic, each member’s varied workout routines are a perfect match for this gorgeous, vibrant song.

“Oak’s roots are in Dan’s grandma’s struggle with dementia and his relationship with her. As he grew up, they became really close, and as he got older, when he visited her We started to see the effects of her illness show up. Despite the lyrical content, the track is quite uplifting musically. We decided to give it a go and enjoy the video.
“I’ve always been overweight, and I’d be lying if I said the music industry didn’t always try to keep my overweight side out of the music I make. I was asked to join a band.” I remember saying I couldn’t attend because my manager said I was overweight. It was hilarious and we had a lot of fun making it. But behind every joke and laugh is my middle finger to people in the industry and how my (or anyone for that matter) appearance influences the songs we write in some way. I think we should have some sort of say, as if we were giving. ”
