Kadkatone with bok choy and long rice
material
- 1 pack chuck loin
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves of raw garlic
- water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3-4 bundles of long rice
- 1 small pack of frozen vegetables or bok choy
Heat your favorite pan over high heat, add the chopped onions and fresh garlic to the olive oil, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
Cut the meat to your desired size and put it in the pot. Season with salt and black pepper. Reduce heat to medium or high and cook for about 10 minutes or until meat is almost cooked through. Stir occasionally.
Add water to about 3 inches below the top—increase heat until it begins to boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 1/2 hour to prevent water from boiling out of pot. Taste and add seasoning if desired.
Add bok choy or frozen veggies to the cad. Add long rice and garlic powder. Cook for 10 minutes.
A healthy and hearty soup perfect for rainy days.
