    1. Trump

The FBI executed a search warrant Monday at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. This is part of an investigation into the handling of presidential documents, including classified documents that may have been brought there when he left White. House. The former president was at Trump Tower in New York when the search warrant was executed. The National Archives announced in February that at least 15 boxes containing White House records had been recovered from the resort. Separately, the photos clearly revealed Trump’s habit of flushing important White House documents down the toilet. An unusual move to search for was brought about. Trump also plans to announce in the coming months that he will launch another candidacy for the White House in 2024.

    2. Flood

Various regions across the United States are grappling with significant damage from flooding. Yellowstone National Park flooded in mid-June, followed by torrential rains in St. Louis and Kentucky. And this weekend, Death Valley in California was hit by floods. The flooding caused numerous landslides, burying cars, cutting roads and trapping about 1,000 people inside the park. Forecasts indicate more flooding is likely this week in parts of the Southwest and eastern Kentucky. Many residents remain without access to power and water after flooding earlier this month killed at least 37 people. Meanwhile, at least eight people died in Seoul, South Korea, on Monday after record rainfall flooded homes, roads and subway stations.

    3. Ukraine

According to Pentagon official Colin Carr, up to 80,000 Russians were killed or wounded during the war in Ukraine. The number of casualties is “surprising”, Carl said, given that the US has not yet achieved the goal. The ministry has admitted for the first time that it has sent previously undisclosed weapons to aid the Ukrainian army. Separately, Russia informed the United States of a temporary suspension of inspections under the critical Nuclear Weapons Convention. This allows Russia and the United States to closely monitor each other’s nuclear weapons. This is because US authorities are stepping up their campaign to seize valuable property from those close to the Kremlin.

    4. Gas fee

The average cost of a gallon of gasoline has dropped nearly $1 from its peak in June, giving drivers some much-needed economic relief in pumping. However, some analysts warn that prices are likely to continue rising as crude inventories are low. Aside from Russia’s war with Ukraine and sanctions that have disrupted its oil exports, analysts say oil producers have shown an inability, and sometimes unwillingness, to increase production. U.S. oil companies are also reluctant to invest heavily in fossil fuel extraction and refining as the current administration moves toward renewable energy. Gasoline prices have played a key role in fighting inflation, which is likely to continue until 2023, according to financial experts.

    5. Olivia Newton John

Australian singer and actress Olivia Newton-John, who captivated generations of viewers with her blockbuster film Grease, died Monday, according to a statement from her husband. She was 73 years old. The singer revealed in September 2018 that she was being treated for cancer at the base of her spine. Following her early 90s and her 2017 breast cancer bouts, she was diagnosed with cancer for the third time. The Hollywood icon joined her fans around the world to mourn the death of her Newton her John.
