As the cost of living crisis worsens, we’re all looking to shop a little smarter and spend a little less.
But for some reason, beauty products always seem expensive, from skin care to makeup, and honestly, it’s hard to save money. Ha.
There are some budget-friendly beauty products out there, but if you have a Holy Grail product, you may (understandably) be hesitant to switch.

Quickly revive dry eye makeup with saline solution
Have you noticed that your mascara is dry and sticky? Or does your gel liner or cream eyeshadow look pretty flaky? All it does is refresh and revive them. These individual saline pods are perfect for this task.

Rejuvenate the crushed powder with rubbing alcohol
Rubbing alcohol is a great way to fix crushed eyeshadow pots to broken pressed powder or damaged blush. Add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the broken product and work the pieces back together (a kitchen towel and the back of a spoon work best for this). (For reference, I’ve used this hack many times and it works like a dream.)

This is one of my personal ways to save money, make my products last longer (without compromising on quality), and give my skin the most gorgeous glow.
